Jennifer-Rebeca Perez received her Juris Doctor from the Florida International University College of Law in 2007, graduating Cum Laude. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education, both in Special Education, from the University of Florida.
She was a full-time Special Education Teacher and Program Specialist while attending law school. Shortly before graduation, she began as a law clerk at Josephs Jack and joined the firm as an attorney upon her admission to the Florida Bar. Her practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation, professional malpractice and insurance litigation. She is a member of the Young Lawyers Division, the Trial Lawyers Division, the Legal Needs of Children committee of the Florida Bar, and the Cuban American Bar Association.
While in law school, Ms. Perez was a Senior Associate Member of the FIU Law Review, a member of the Trial Advocacy Team, and an intern for the Honorable Michael A. Genden of the 11th Judicial Circuit. She was also active in student organizations as a Student Representative on the Student Bar Association, and President of the Cuban American Law Society.
